Kenya Airways Plc Chairman Michael Joseph has announced his bid for re-election ahead of the airline’s 43rd Annual General Meeting on 10th June 2019.
“Mr Joseph, aged over 70 years, retires in accordance with Article 69 of the company’s Articles of Association, and being eligible, offers himself for re-election,” said the airline in a notice to shareholders.
The former Safaricom executive, Michael Joseph was appointed in October 2016 as the KQ Chairman following the resignation of Ambassador Dennis Awori.
Part of the agenda also includes; appointment of Deloitte and Touche as the auditors of the company who will hold office until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting, authorize the Board to appoint additional members of the Audit and Risk Committee as well as the re-election of Dr Kamau Thugge as a Non-Executive Director.
