Kenya Airways (KQ) and British Airways (BA) has signed a codeshare agreement, seeking to enable customers to fly to more destinations across Europe.
Customers flying from Nairobi with Kenya Airways will be able to seamlessly connect onto 26 destinations across United Kingdom and Europe, including Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Dublin, Aberdeen, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Athens, Malaga and Lisbon.
On the other hand, customers flying with British Airways from London will be able to connect onto 20 destinations, including Douala, Zanzibar, Lusaka, Mombasa, Addis Ababa, Entebbe across East and Central Africa that Kenya Airways operates to, including Mauritius and Seychelles.
Kenya Airways currently offers five flights a week from Nairobi to London Heathrow, every day except Wednesdays and Fridays, operated on the flagship Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
