Kenya Healthcare Federation (KHF) and its counterpart, the French Healthcare Federation (FHF), plan to sign a memorandum of understanding in Paris this September.
The signing will be on the sidelines of the French Healthcare Innovation & Business Forum that is taking place between the 19th and 20th of September 2022 in Paris.
The Paris function is an event that forges international relations between the French Healthcare ecosystem, world executives, and global decision-makers.
Available figures indicate that Kenya imported pharmaceutical products valued at $ 29.1m from France.
According to Dr Kanyenje Gakombe, Kenya Healthcare Federation Chairperson, the federation is linking local healthcare players with their global counterparts. We believe these linkages will positively impact local health outcomes,” Gakombe said.
Dr Anastasia Nyalita, the KHF CEO, said the two organizations would also focus on capacity-building programmes to boost trade balances.

According to Johanna Lerfel, Executive Director of FHF, the partnership with KHF will unlock immense opportunities for more than 270 FHF members and 160 KHF members.
