Kenyan-based logistics firm, Lori, has eventually ventured into the Nigerian market after a successful 10-month pilot period, with the participation of cargo companies such as Olam, Honeywell Flour Mills, and Flour Mills Nigeria.
The move, which is aimed at expanding the firm’s presence across Africa, takes advantage of Nigeria’s challenges of a congested port and a shortage of transport options.
Lori launched in Kenya in 2016 and aims to leverage technology in reducing inefficiencies in the logistics chain by providing real-time tracking and optimization.
The company also operates in Rwanda, Uganda, and South Sudan.
