Kenya To Host 90 Chinese Companies In Student Trade Fair.

Kenya is set to host 90 Chinese multinational companies for a student trade fair at the Kenyatta International Convention Center in Nairobi.

The companies, under the Kenya China Economic Trade Association (KCETA) have committed to help in the rolling out of sustainable human resource development programs aimed at promoting career growth in the country.

According to Emily Li Chen, Secretary of Kenya China Economic Trade Association (KCETA),‘’as a crucial player in the country, we believe that it is our mission to build good businesses in Kenya to boost the economy favourably. One way we are doing this is through availing opportunities, especially to the youth who have just cleared their university or college studies, and those who have some experience in the various industries, to provide them with career growth opportunities, enabling them apply the skills learnt in school.”

sentimente echoed by Charge d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy, Mr. Li Xuhang who says the youth are the drivers of the Kenyan economy and it is therefore important that they attend the Career Fair and take advantage of such opportunities when presented to them.

“It is our strong belief that in order to collaborate effectively, we need to empower the youth of Kenya. By doing so, we are empowering the nation and making contributions to the realization of the Big Four Development Agenda.” he said.
