Kenindia Assurance has appointed Mr Bhawani Shanker Sharma as Managing Director, in replacement of Mr Inderjeet Singh who joined New India Assurance Company Limited as the new General Manager.
Mr Sharma, who holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Bachelor of Law degree, has previously worked with Oriental Insurance Company Limited in India.
Kenindia Assurance is one of the largest non-life insurance companies in Kenya. It was established as a merger of Indian Insurance Companies operating in Kenya under a joint venture and received financial support from leading local business elite.
