KCB Among Most Digital Savvy Banks Globally Survey

Kenya Commercial Bank is among the world’s top lenders that are digital savvy, a survey by Hamburg-based Digital Scouting shows.

KCB was listed position 13 in the Top 100 Digital Banks, securing 89 Power Score out of a possible 100.

The survey uses Kred Algorithm to analyse Social Media Presence to come up with the rankings. KCB had a Kred Influence of 959 out of 1000 and Kred Outreach of 10 out of 10.

“Does this result include all indicators for the digital state of a bank. For sure not. But if a financial institution claims to be innovative and trying to use the opportunities of digital transformation but does not do a good job on social media, we think this might be a contradicion.

“On the other hand there are so many smaller or not widely known banks that try hard and do a good job that should be more praised for that. Besides this, the list should give you an overview of interesting banks to follow and to be inspired by,” said Digital Scouting’s Robin Kiera.

Banks that made it to the list and have presence in Africa Guaranty Trust Bank (GT Bank) with 91 Power Score, CITI (85), FirstBank Nigeria (68), Access Bank (68), Standard Chartered, UBA Group (66), Barclays Bank (56), and Diamond Bank (45).
