The Ksh14 billion Kisumu breweries plant is in the final stages to become operational.
Kenya Breweries Limited team is on site for final test runs before the production of Senator Keg can commence.
The Kisumu plant, which closed shops in 2002, will create job opportunities to more than 100,000 people as farmers, distributors and retailers in the locality.
Last year, EABL beer sales were driven by Senator Keg resulting in a 35 per cent growth in the half year ended December 2018. The Kisumu facility is expected to further boost the firm’s beer bottomline.
