Dr Katherine Getao has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer of ICT Authority for three years.
She takes over John Sergon who has been holding the position in acting capacity since April. Until the announcement published in a gazette notice, Dr Getao served the government as the ICT Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology.
She was instrumental in designing Huduma Kenya initiative that has transformed the way citizens access government services.
