Challenges for Chair Mucai Kunyiha
The former vice-chair takes the helm of the association at a time when the manufacturing industry is facing turbulence from the pandemic. Mucai is optimistic that things will change, given adaptability and resilience in SMEs.
“Resilience is going to be critical to our SMEs and MSMEs because things are going to change. We can see that there are businesses that have changed from making dresses to making face masks; we have seen people making more sanitizers after they realized they have the capability. The ability to see our future is what is going to help our SMEs grow.”
