    Kakuzi FY2016 Earnings Up 22% On Avocado Macadamia Demand

    Listed Agricultural Firm, Kakuzi Ltd has today released its Full Year 2016 results with Pre-tax profits growing by 13% to Sh 757.8Million attributed to a 7% growth in Revenue to Sh 2.6 Billion. Net Profit grew by 22.3% to Sh 562 Million compared to Sh 459 Million recorded in 2015.

    Kakuzi noted that the improved performance was due to favourable market demand for their two main products; avocado and macadamia.

    The Board declared a dividend of Sh 6 per share vs 2015’s Sh 5.00, to be paid to shareholders on the register as at 31st May 2017.

    On Wednesday’s trading session, Kakuzi Share was unchanged at Sh 300.
