The Board of Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has appointed Mr. Alex Gitari as the acting Managing Director/CEO effective October 1, 2019.
Mr. Gitari is the current General Manager, Finance, and brings in a wealth of knowledge in development banking, financial management, resource mobilization, risk management, and policy formulation.
Mr. Gitari takes over from Mr. Jonny Andersen who starts his leave, with his term expected to expire on November 21, 2019.
The recruitment process for new CEO/managing director starts on October 1, 2019.
