Jumia Introduces Back to School Campaign Offering Up to 60% Discount

Jumia has launched a back to school campaign for KCPE and KCSE students enabling them to buy school items such as mathematical sets, log books, and calculators at a discount of up to 60 percent. The campaign will offer more than 200,000 school essentials and run from 20 to 26 August 2018.

Sam Chappatte Jumia’s managing director said:

“We understand the stress parents face when preparing their children to go back to school such as hiked prices and long queues. We invite all parents to save time and money and find everything they need on Jumia. In the future, we hope to partner with schools so we can package particular school kits like books and personal care items, as recommended by schools, to make things easier for busy parents.”

Customers who purchase school essentials will be delivered to them the next day through Jumia Express while orders of more than Sh4,000 will be delivered for free in Nairobi. During this campaign, customers will also have the opportunity to win school fees of up to Sh450,000 for participation in the daily Treasure Hunts on Jumia.

For this campaign, Jumia has partnered with uniform distributors, top Book Suppliers, Nairobi Sports House, Unilever, and Kiwi.
