Jambojet, Little Cab partner to offer affordable cab rides

In a three-month initiative aimed at providing Jambojet customers affordable and convenient travel, to and from the airport, the low cost airline has partnered with Little cab to offer a Ksh150 discount on cab rides to its customers.

The offer will run in Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kisumu airports.

In a statement, Jambojet CEO, Mr. Allan Kilavuka said the partnership gives them a chance to enrich their customers travel experience, by convenience and affordability.

The move is also aimed at increasing Little Cab’s market reach, grow its customer base and cut out on competition.

The airline operates a no-frills model where passengers enjoy lower fares but have to pay for extras such as food, baggage as well as seat choices and legroom. To keep the cost of a seat as low as possible, the airline focuses on getting you from point A to point B for as cheaply as possible.

Little is also running the campaign on the airline’s De Havilland Dash 8 Q400 aircraft, so as to reach the customers, with hopes that the brand will influence their transport decisions when they alight the airline.

Jambojet, launched locally in April 2014, has been flying to Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Malindi, Ukunda, and Entebbe.

Jambojet operates a total of 424 monthly flights from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, of which 248 flights are to the coastal destinations of Mombasa, Ukunda and Malindi.
