India's Fastest Growing Hotel to Open Sh 150Mn Facility in Maasai Mara

Royal Orchid, India’s fastest growing hotel chain has announced that it will in December this year open a new 60-bed five-star luxury facility in the Maasai Mara National Park at a cost of Sh150 million.

The hotel chain Nairobi chairman, Parbat Pindoria said the facility will give Royal Orchid a competitive edge when tourists come to watch the great wildebeest migration in the park.

“We have been losing guests to rivals when our guests want to have a Safari experience in the Mara. The new development will be a circuit that guests rotate through either coming from Nairobi, Mombasa or Amboseli,” he said.

Royal Orchid first entered the Kenyan hospitality market in 2014 and this will be its first Hotel in the Maasai Mara National Park.
