Buzz Afrique Becomes 19th Firm to Join NSE's Ibuka Programme

Marketing and Communications firm Buzz Afrique has joined Nairobi Securities Exchange’s incubation and growth acceleration programme Ibuka.

Buzz Afrique becomes the 19th company to be admitted to the programme that seeks to accelerate the growth of companies. Other Ibuka hostees include Tusker Mattress, Homeboyz Entertainment, Safaricom Investment Co-operative, Myspace Properties, APT Commodities Limited, Globetrotter Agencies, Moad Capital Limited, Polygon Logistics, Nyali Capital limited, Rentco, and TSG Realty Limited.

Buzz Afrique is a fully-fledged integrated marketing, communications and events planning agency

Ibuka enables Kenyan companies to fast-track their developments by accessing financial advisors and consultants. The program helps the firms to structure their businesses, enhance visibility and get exposure among local and international investors.

Actually, three firms under the Ibuka program are planning to list on the bourse in the first quarter of 2020. The three are Jamii Bora, Tusker Mattress, and Vitafoam.

According to NSE, the listing will be a testament of the Ibuka’s success as a conduit to public finance. Furthermore, the three listings will end the drought at the NSE as the bourse has witnessed the exit of firms in the last four years.
