The International Air Transport Association (IATA) will hold this year’s Regional Aviation Forum in Nairobi on September 17th.
The event, to be hosted by Kenya Airways, will focus on the theme ‘Aviation Connecting and Enriching Africa’.
This comes at an interesting time for the aviation space in Kenya given the recent developments like the proposals for the nationalization of the national carrier.

Muhammad Ali Albakri, IATA’s Regional Vice President for Africa and the Middle East.
Among key topics for discussion will be realizing the value of Aviation and its impact on Economies, mapping out strategies for the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM).
Furthermore, the forum will discuss on nurturing growth through digitization, infrastructure & standards, new trends in-flight safety & operations among other topics.
