Hudson Andambi Appointed Ag MD Kenya Pipeline as Sang, Five Others, Arrested

HUDSON ANDAMBI has been appointed the Ag Managing Director of Kenya Pipeline Company LTD, following the Friday morning arrest of the firm’s top brass.

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mining Andrew Kamau, says the new appointment will give the board time to source for the right candidate to replace Mr Joe Sang, the current MD.

“This is to ensure the operations continue without interferences for purposes of ensuring security of supply of petroleum products,” said Mr Kamau.

Mr Sang has been arrested alongside KPC’s Company Secretary Gloria Khafafa,General Manager Supply Chain Vincent Cheruiyot and General Manager in charge of infrastructure Billy Aseka over, among other things, loss of million litres of petroleum products and graft related allegations.

Mr Sang tendered his resignation on 4 December to the board advising them he will not be seeking reappointment as the firm’s MD in April 2019.

Until his appointment, Mr Andambi was the Senior Principal Superintending Geologist at the Ministry of Energy.
