How Fanaka is making strides in the real estate sector

Fanaka Real Estate is one of the companies that have defied the challenges brought about by the Coronavirus pandemic and is registering tremendous success in the real estate business. Two of the company’s latest projects, launched towards the end of December 2020 are already sold out.

The secret, according to Fanaka Real Estate is because they are a customer centric business and what comes first for them is what their clientele wants.

Three months after launching a new branch in Ruiru, the company has already sold out two projects and we got insights from the team on how this was possible.

Customer Relations Manager, Charity Nyokabi attributes the success of this particular projects to the development of the area and its proximity the Nairobi Central Business District, which is just a few minutes away.

This according to Ms. Nyokabi is the value they offered their customers and it made the sale easy.

“Selling this particular project was fun and easy since people had already started construction and it was closer to the CBD and also to the tarmac. As we speak, the project is already sold out and it has taken only three months and there are several residential constructions ongoing. What I have learnt throughout the process of selling Fortune Phase 3 is that most of our customers look at the value and development of the area and that’s what we offered them,” said Charity Nyokabi.

According to Dennis Wandera – General Manager, Fanaka Real Estate, their biggest focus is to have projects in satellite towns within the Nairobi Metropolitan Area, and Ruiru was an ideal place. He pointed out that their clientele wants places they can build homes as they work in the city, and their projects provide exactly that.

“We have already secured and built a name with the projects we have along Kangundo road. Our next move was to look at which other strategic place is close to Nairobi and can offer what our clientele is looking for, especially the middle class. A place somebody can go to work without any hustle and still own a home. Ruiru was ideal for us because of the infrastructure around it, proximity to the CBD, proximity to malls, proximity to JKIA which is linked by the Eastern Bypass, we have the Thika Superhighway which ensures people can go to town using different roads that connect to the city Centre,” said Mr. Wandera.

He added that in order to improve their customer service, and service delivery to clients, Fanaka Real Estate has increased their human capital in order to reach more people.

“We want to ensure that we support them in keeping the momentum going. We are doing this by incorporating training from external partners, and also Internally, to ensure we are able to address all the client needs both externally and internally.”
