    Home Afrika picks Ben Munyasya as New Company Secretary

    Home Afrika Limited Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Ben Munyasya as the Company Secretary with effect from 6th June 2022.

    Munyasya is a Certified Public Secretary, a lawyer with over 20 years’ experience in Legal Practice as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and with myriad of experience dealing in private and public Company Secretarial Service.

    He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law (KSL) and he is also a Commissioner of Oaths and Notary Public.

    Directors of this listed real estate firm include Peter Mungai (Chairman), Jayne Nyokabi (Ag. Managing Director), Mbugua Gecaga, Luke Kinoti, Frida Owinga, Bertha Mvati & Nelson Ashitiva.

    The firm has issued a notice that the Annual General Meeting(AGM) of the Shareholders of Home Afrika Limited will be held via virtual conference on Thursday, 30th June 2022 at 10.00 am.

    On the list of business to be transacted at this meeting include to reconsider the re-election of Ms. Frida Owanga and Ms. Bertha Mvati as directors.

    Shareholders are also expected to consider picking to the Board Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee of Luke Kinoti (Chairperson) Ms. Frida Owinga and Nelson Ashitiva, to continue serving as members.

    Home Afrika shareholders will also consider the appointment and remuneration of Ben Munyasya as Company Secretary in accordance with provisions of Section 244 of the Companies Act 2015 and to authorize the Board to fix his remuneration.
