    Home Afrika Names Peter Mungai as New Board Chairperson Following Peter Nduati's Resignation

    Home Afrika has appointed Peter Mungai as the new Board Chairperson effective 12th November 2020. Mungai takes over from Peter Nduati who resigned as a Non-Executive Director and Board Chairperson effective 12th November. Nduati served in the real estate company‘s board since 1st April 2016.

    According to the announcement made by Managing Director Dan Awendo, Caroline Kigen also resigned as a Non-Executive Director.

    “The Board of Home Afrika Limited Wishes to inform the public of resignation of Mr. Peter Nduati as a Non-Executive Director and Board Chairman of Home Afrika Limited with effect from 12th November 2020 and Ms caroline Kigen as a Non-Executive Director of the Board of Home Afrika Limited with effect from 12th November 2020,” reads the announcement.

    Peter Mungai joined the company’s board on 31st October 2019, bringing with him a wealth of experience in leadership, and management, as well as over 30 years of experience in finance. Mungai holds a Masters degree in Leadership and Management from the Management University of Africa.

    He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). He is versed in matters management consultancy, impact assessment project, statutory and management information system audit, working in firms like Dan & Anderson Associates, Sub-Saharan Africa (ABM) Eastman Kodak Inc, and Wachira Irungu & Associates.
