Home Afrika Limited has joined the list of companies that have sought approval from the Capital Markets Authority to delay the publication of the audited financial results for the fiscal year ended 31st December ahead of the April 30th deadline.
In a notice sent through the NSE, the Managing Director, Dan Awendo said the company is considering several interests in its bid to seek ways to strengthen the capital base of the company.
“These efforts will have an impact on the financial statements and requisite disclosures to the shareholders and potential investors of the company and will, therefore, facilitate a better assessment of the company’s financial position,” part of the notice read.
In effect, the firm said it would publish its financial results before 31st July 2019
