Home Afrika has appointed Ms Bertha Nuvari as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 15 June 2020.
Ms Nuvari is a Finance specialist with close to 10 years’ experience in the leasing industry across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda. She brings a wealth of experience in fundraising, credit risk, operations, and asset management having worked in various institutions.
She served as the Regional Head of Finance at Vehicle and Equipment Leasing Limited overseeing the group finance and operations across Africa and she was later promoted to the role of Managing Director. She is currently the business manager at Centum investments’ Zohari Leasing overseeing the company’s operations and strategy implementation.
Mvati also serves on the boards of Avantis Services Ltd and Jubilant Stewards of Africa, an NGO. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance as well as a Diploma in Business Administration from the Uganda Christian University
