Housing Finance Company(HFC) Limited, the banking subsidiary of HF Group, has appointed Peter Mugeni Oduori as the Bank, effective November 17th 2021.
Peter is a seasoned banker with over 20 years of experience in Leadership, Credit Risk Management and Operations as well as leading large teams both regionally and across Africa. He has formulated and implemented business strategies that have led to a significant turnaround in various organizations that he has worked with in the past.
He holds a Master of Science Degree in Finance( Banking Option) and Bachelor of Commerce degree( finance option), both from the University of Nairobi. He is also a Certified Retail Banker(CRB) UK, an affiliate member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants(ACCA) UK, a Certified Bank Credit Evaluator, (SBS, SA) an Associate Member of the Professional Risk Managers(PRMA, US) and a Fellow of the Retail Banking Academy(RBA) UK.

He is currently the Credit Director at HFC. He has previously held various senior positions in Stanbic Bank Kenya Limited, Stanbic Bank Tanzania and Standard Bank Group.
Peter takes over from Ms Regina Anyika, who held the position in an acting capacity at HFC and who now continues with her role as Director, Legal and Company Secretary of HF Group Plc, said a statement from Dr Kaushik Manek-HF Board Chairman.
