Housing Finance (HF) Group through its banking subsidiary has received the green light from the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) and Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) to provide custodial services to fund managers, brokers, investment banks, corporates, pension schemes and high net worth individuals, who are active investors either as agents or as principals.
The license enables the lender to offer core custody services, cash management services, escrow custody services, trustee services, and bond trading.
Custodian Bank
A custodian bank holds and protects customer funds or investments through either direct or indirect means. Additionally, a custodian may offer other services, such as account administration, transaction settlements, collection of dividends and interest payments, tax support, and foreign exchange.
