HF Group has appointed Dr Anthony Omerikwa Opare as a Non-Executive director of the board effective 18th January 2022. Dr Omerikwa is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the National Social Security Fund.
Previously, Dr Anthony Omerikwa served as the Acting general manager Operations in the National Social Security Fund overseeing information technology, human resources, administration and procurement functions.
Dr Anthony holds a Doctoral Degree as a Specialist Advance in labor, workforce development and education from the University of Georgia. He also holds a master’s of Science in Human Resource from pittsburgh State university, a bachelor’s degree in economics from Kenyatta University as well as a diploma in Data processing and management from strathmore college.
HF Group has been making changes to the board after the mortgage lender announced plans to begin the process of seeking strategic investors to acquire a stake in the firm. The aim of the proposed transaction was to strengthen the Group’s capital in line with its strategic direction.
Recently, HF Group appointed Charles Kimani Njuguna the acting managing director at Britam to the board as its non-executive director effective January 14 2022, shortly after appointing Prof Olive Mugenda as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairperson of its Board of Directors.
