HassConsult Real Estate is set to undertake the first phase of its Ksh10 billion ENAKI project in the second quarter of 2019.
The project will sit on a 22-acre piece of land in Nairobi’s Nyari West Estate, and will combine both aspects of housing and a botanical garden.
Named Five Senses, the botanical garden is designed to preserve indigenous flora and fauna that seamlessly ignites the five human senses sight, smell, touch, hearing and taste as they walk through.
Upon completion of the first phase in three years, ENAKI will have 450 housing units.
Farhana Hassanali, HassConsult’s chief executive, says the goal of combining both residency and a botanical garden is to create a rich, overall experience that promotes mental relaxation, in addition to maintaining a healthy, interesting, and diverse collection of plant materials all open to the public.
“We believe we are undertaking our most innovative venture yet, because this project is not just about bricks and mortar – with this project we are building a spiritual haven. And in so-doing, we are taking a new lead in Africa, in what is being termed, in the global vanguard of our industry, as experience real estate,’’ she said during the launch held at HassConsult’s Westlands office.
