Consult Bidco, an acquisition company controlled by The Goldman Sachs Group, has been cleared by the Competition Authority of Kenya to acquire full control of Mace Consult’s local project and cost management firms.

Consulting for construction and project delivery is a fragmented field. Large global firms and many local firms operate in the same space and market share is currently spread across many players with no dominant position.
CAK cleared the transaction without conditions and Mace Consult will now move under full control of a Goldman Sachs entity once the global deal closes.
