    GenAfrica Asset Managers Posts KSh76.1 Million Net Profit

    GenAfrica Asset Managers has recorded a net profit of KSh76.1 million at the end of H1, 2020. This is compared to KSh 68.9 Million realized during the previous period in 2019.

    The fund manager’s management fee increased to KSh 275.1 Million from KSh 255.9 Million while its Total Income rose to KSh 281.1 Million from KSh 260 Million.

    Its pre-tax profit increased from KSh 101.5 Million to KSh 111.9 Million while Total Expenses increased from KSh 158.5 Million to KSh 169.1 Million.

    GenAfrica Asset Management Limited is licensed by both the Capital Markets Authority and the Retirement Benefits Authority as Fund Managers in Kenya and Uganda.

    The firm’s balance sheet increased in size from KSh 412.8 Million to KSh 549.1 Million while Total Shareholders Funds increased to KSh 339.6 Million from KSh 315.4 Million.

    Total shareholders’ funds increased to KSh 339.6 Million from KSh 315.4 Million while Total Comprehensive Income rose to KSh 74.1 Million from KSh 71.7 Million.

    The firm is owned by 90.84% by Kuramo Capital Management Limited, with its management and staff owning the remaining 9.16%.
