KK Security Rebrands to GardaWorld after Acquisition

Global security solutions provider GardaWorld Security has rebranded its Kenyan subsidiary—KK Security Ltd— to GardaWorld Security–Africa.

    • •The rebranding aligns the company’s local operations with its global identity and signals an expanded commitment to the East African private security sector.
    • •In January, GardaWorld acquired KK Security’s parent company Doctor No Parent Limited for an undisclosed sum.
    • •The company says it has invested in technology-driven security solutions, including an upgraded National Security Operations Centre (NSOC) in Nairobi.

“Our brand evolution reflects the breadth of our service offering. We combine local knowledge with global strength to deliver best-in-class security solutions,” said Rishi Ahluwalia, GardaWorld’s Country Director for Kenya.

The NSOC features AI-powered remote monitoring, real-time tracking, and an extensive mobile response network designed to mitigate risks such as crime, civil unrest, and terrorism.

“We have built a best-in-class business by integrating KK Security’s national experience with GardaWorld’s global expertise. This transition strengthens our ability to deliver superior, integrated services to clients across Africa,” Oliver Westmacott, President and Chief Operating Officer of GardaWorld said.

The company’s expanded services span key industries, including aviation, logistics, extractives, and agriculture. Its workforce of over 8,000 security professionals covers major urban centers such as Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, and Eldoret. The company employs more than 132,000 professionals worldwide.
