Africa’s leading payments technology company, Flutterwave has appointed Oneal Bhambani as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Bhambani joins the startup from American Express and Kabbage, where he managed fintech products. Kabbage is a subsidiary of American Express that offers a broader set of cash flow management tools to businesses.
As Flutterwave CFO, Bhambani will be instrumental in overseeing the company’s expansion. He is expected to inject his global experience in areas such as operational controls and financial rigour and discipline.
The fintech startup has been expanding exponentially and recently completed its $250 million in Series D funding. The company is currently valued at over $3billion.
