    Ericsson Appoints Sena Erten as VP and Head of People for Middle East and Africa

    Ericsson has appointed Sena Erten as the new Vice President and Head of People for Africa and the Middle East. Sena will head the company talent acquisition in the region, working towards developing a world-class employee experience.

    Speaking on her appointment, Ericsson’s President of Middle East and Africa Fadi Pharaon said that Sena’s extensive experience will be instrumental in addressing fast-changing competence development needs to position the company ahead of the market.

    “…Sena will work to address the fast-changing competence development needs of our company by unlocking the human potential, upskilling and reskilling talents, enabling us to stay ahead of the market and adding value to our customers.”

    Sena brings over 20 years of human resource experience, having previously worked in a similar position in Mondelez International for 4 years. She also served as the Human Resource Director for the Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan and Turkey in the same company. Before Mondelez, Sena was the Human Resource Director at BIOFARMA Pharmaceutical in Instanbul, Turkey.

    Sena expressed her joy in joining Ericsson, looking forward to drive the company’s strategy in the region and finding new ways to engage and collaborate with teams.
