Emirates Airline Introduces More Options for Kenyan Travellers

Emirates Airline travellers customers can now purchase their flight tickets using local debit and credit cards, mobile money, or mobile banking and have their ticket issued within minutes.

Customers can switch from cash to online bank transfers from 12 local banks or three mobile wallet providers.

According to Christophe Leloup, Emirates Kenya Country Manager, these payment options offer travellers more convenient booking options and payment for the ticket.

He said many travellers in Kenya require more choices when it comes to making online payments.

Emirates provides them with links to several mobile phone companies, mobile cash providers, more local banking partners and many other options to facilitate payments.

No matter the currency, location, bank, or card, our customers will find a payment solution that suits them when booking,” said Leloup.

The Airline currently serves 120 global destinations and operates daily flights from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Dubai and beyond.

The airline recently introduced contactless technology to ease customers through Dubai airport. It has also extended multi-risk insurance cover and has helped loyal customers retain their miles and tier status.
