    East African Cables Names Julius Waita as a Non-executive Director

    East African cables has appointed Julius Waita to its board of directors as a non-executive independent director. He is a highly skilled accounting professional who began his career as an audit and tax officer at PKF Kenya. Julius has a wealth of experience from the private sector and the public sector.

    He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS), and a member of the Institute of Certified Investment & Financial Analysts
    (ICIFA). He previously served as the chairman of ICPAK.

    Julius is the Managing Partner of CPJ and Associates (CPA-K) and also serves in the board of Kenya Accountants & Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB), Kenya Institute of Curriculum
    Development (KICD), and on the County Government of Narok.

    In an emailed statement, the Chairman and board of East African cables expressed their delight at welcoming Julius to the board.

    East African Cables will hold a virtual Annual General Meeting on 17th December 2020 at noon.
