    EABL to pay 14% interest on medium-term note

    The East African Breweries Limited has issued a notice on the fifth interest payment on the 1st tranche of EABL TRANCHE 2, to be paid on 30th September 2019.

    The interest will be paid at a fixed rate of 14.17% per annum (on the amount of notes held) to the noteholders whose names appear on the register of bondholders at the close of the business 15 September 2019.

    EABL bosses bonuses double

    EABL bosses’ bonuses doubled in the financial year ended in June 2019 on the back of increased profits. The firm’s audited financial statements show increased sales revenues in all regional markets leading to a 12 percent increase in total revenues to KSh82.54 billion.

    There was a 59 percent growth in profits to KSh 11.5 billion attributed to 11 and 12 percent growth in volumes and sales respectively.

    EABL remuneration policy is in line with the performance of the company and individual employee contribution.
