    EABL Appoints New Company Secretary

    The East African Breweries Limited appointed Kathryne Maundu as the new company secretary on 28th March 2020. She replaces Joyce Munene who resigned from the position on 27th March.

    Kathryne is an accomplished expert in corporate governance within the East African region. She is a Partner at Stamford Corporate Services LLP, part of Bowmans Coulson Harney LLP. Additionally, she serves as Safaricom’s Company Secretary, a role she has held for the past four years.

    Kathryne has served in various boards in diverse sectors. She is a member of the Women on Boards Network and Women Corporate Directors (Kenya Chapter).

    She holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Law (Commercial and Corporate Law) from the University of London. In addition, Kathryne is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a member of the Law Society of Kenya, a registered Certified Public Secretary and an Accredited Governance Auditor with the Institute of Certified Secretaries of Kenya.

    The Board is confident with the wealth of experience that Kathryne brings and welcomes her to the Company
