    Eaagads AGM Set for 25th September

    EAAGADS Limited has set Wednesday, 25th September 2019 as the date for their Annual General Meeting at Eaagads Estate, Eaagads Limited, White Sisters Road, off Thika-Mang’u Road, Thika, at 11:00 am.

    Among the issues to be discussed at the AGM include:

    • •Adoption of the company’s Audited Financial Statements of the year ended 31 March 2019
    • •Deliberation on change of the company name
    • •Retirement and/or re-election of directors
    • •Payment of dividends for the year ended 31 March 2019

    The company is seeking to change its name to Eaagads PLC in compliance with section 53 of the Companies Act 2015, which states that a company that is both a limited company and public company must be registered with a name that ends with “public limited company” – PLC, while one that is limited company as well as private company, be registed with limited – LTD.

    Incorporated in 1946 and listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) and trade under the symbol EGAD, EGAAD is involved in the growing, blending, and selling of coffee products both locally and in the international market, and is controlled and managed by Kofinaf Company Limitd, which holds 61.74% of the share capital of EAAGADS.
