Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) has partnered with Canton Chamber of Commerce in Kenya (Guangdong Association) to offer financial services for the Belt and Road Initiative investors.
The deal will see the Canton Chamber of Commerce in Kenya members use Diamond Trust Bank’s banking services, including operating corporate and individual bank accounts, remittance services, and lending services.
According to the bank’s CEO and Managing Director Nasim Devji, the move seeks to boost two-way trade between China and Kenya, and enhance the economic development of the country by financing Chinese businesses in Kenya and the Kenyan business in Guangdong province.
We welcome all members of the business community interested in trade in the Guangdong province to access financing and support from Diamond Trust Bank. Additionally, through our existing China desk, we are providing a one-stop banking solution to traders tapping into the Chinese market courtesy of the banks’ link to Habib Bank Limited in China.
