Thika, Kenya - April 2, 2026 - Del Monte Kenya Ltd, a grower, producer, and the largest single exporter of Kenyan products, has entered into a formal partnership with the Administration Police Service (APS) to restructure and strengthen security operations across its organization.
The initiative brings APS officers into a more structured and coordinated role alongside Del Monte’s existing security teams, including long-standing partners G4S and Garda World, to improve response times, manage risks more effectively and ensure that security is handled professionally and responsibly while being accountable to the communities around it.
Speaking at the official launch of the partnership, Inspector General of Police Mr. Douglas Kanja, welcomed the agreement:

Del Monte has shown they are serious about getting this right. By putting the community at the heart of this agreement, we’re making sure this partnership benefits the people living and working here.
