    Cytonn appoints CDSC Chairman Mr Bristow to its Board

    Cytonn Investments Management Limited has appointed Mr. Mike Bristow to its Board of Directors.

    Mr. Bristow is the current Board Chairman of the Central Depository and Settlement Corporation Limited and has more than 30 years experience in executive management and he has held various Board roles in the financial sector, including being engaged in policy and innovation development.

    Mr Michael is a banker by profession with a career spanning over 47 Years both in the UK and Africa. He was an executive director at Commercial Bank of Africa until 2012 when he retired. He previously worked with Barclays bank in the UK, Ghana and Zambia and Kenya He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of bankers (FCIB) and Holds a Masters degree in African Politics from London University’s school of Oriental and African studies.His other non-executive directorships include First Assurance Ltd and Frontier Clearing Corporation BV, a company facilitating development of financial markets. He has also served in the Council of the Ghana Stock Exchange

    Mr. Bristow sits on the boards of other key institutions including the Financial Sector Deepening Africa Limited (FSDA), which is a DfID sponsored organization based in Kenya and Frontier Clearing Corp. BV based in Holland, both of which work to facilitate robust, efficient and inclusive financial markets.
