    CIC Named Winner of Decade of Excellence Insurance in Kenya for 2021

    CIC Group was named the winner of the Decade of Excellence Kenya 2021 Award in the 2021 Global Banking and Finance awards.

    CIC Group CEO Patrick Nyaga says the global recognition echoes the insurance company’s commitment to providing world-class services in the insurance space, where it serves 1.3 million clients.

    We are proud to be recognised globally. This award echoes our continued commitment to our clients to provide world-class insurance services for the past decade.

    In December 2020, the company’s General Insurance was named Best Automotive Insurer at the Automotive Industry Excellence Awards 2020. Similarly, CIC General Insurance was named “Most Preferred Private Vehicle Insurer” by the same awards in 2019.

    Other Kenyan companies featured in the awards include Sumac Microfinance Bank, which won the 2021 Microfinance Bank Customer Satisfaction & Happiness. Standard Chartered was named the Best Digital Bank Kenya 2021, while Co-operative Bank of Kenya was named the Best SME bank and the Best Bank for Auto Loans in Kenya for this 2021.

    Sterling Capital Limited was named the Best Investment bank Kenya 2021.

    The Global Banking and Finance awards highlight the innovations, achievements, strategy, progressive and inspirational change in the Global Financial community.
