CIC group has appointed Georgina Maria Malombe to join the company’s board of directors starting from 1st August 2019.
Ms. Georgina has a wide experience in accounting, audit and corporate governance. She has over 19 years of experience in accounting. Her experience spans across the industry. Ms Georgina is a member of the audit committee of KCB group. She is also the chairlady of the Association of Women Accountants of Kenya (AWAK). Before her appointment to the board of CIC, she was ICPAK’s Public Policy and Governance manager for 3 years, and the Chief Executive Officer for Kenya’s Registration of Accountants Board (RAB).
CIC group is one of the top insurance providers in Kenya. The company has subsidiaries in three African countries namely; Uganda, South Sudan, and Malawi.
