CFAO Motors, Formerly Toyota Kenya, to Construct KSh500 Million Showroom in Kisumu

Toyota vehicle distributor, CFAO Motors Kenya has announced plans to construct a KSh500 million new showroom in Kisumu. The dealer will partner with the Lake Region Counties as they prepare to host the 9th Africities Summit in Kisumu scheduled for April.

CFAO Motors Kenya managing director Arvinder Reel says the 3,600 square metre facility located in Nyamasaria will be completed in the next 12 months. The company will now consolidate their operations, and have to close down the two sites which they have been renting.

The new showroom will give the dealer 40% more space and will include 12 service bays, more parking space and increased space to display the auto distributor’s expanded portfolio that now houses Toyota, Hino, Suzuki, Yamaha, Automark, Autofast and Winparts.

The showroom will also utilise green energy by installing a solar plant expected to generate 45,000kWh per annum.

Toyota Kenya rebranded to Cooperation for Africa and Overseas (CFAO) Motors Limited Kenya last month in a move aimed at enhancing multi-brand distribution of cars, motorbikes, and equipment.

CFAO, whose parent company is Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC), will be the exclusive dealer of Toyota vehicles in addition to selling Suzuki, Yamaha, and Hino brands.

Under the business, Kenyans can be able to trade in their used vehicles with a new vehicle in order to boost new vehicle sales.
