    Centum Appoints Risper Alaro As Its New Group Finance Director

    Centum Investment Company Plc has appointed Ms. Rispa Alaro as its new Group Finance Director, effective 15th March 2022.

    Risper rejoins the firm after being away on sabbatical leave. Until mid 2018, she served Centum in various leadership capacities for a period of 18 years.

    Centum has had Risper holding various position

    Risper established Centum Business Solutions Limited and served as its first managing director from 2014, in which position led the provision of business services including finance, tax, human resource management, technology, marketing and legal) to the firm and its wholly owned subsidiaries.

    Prior to this, she served the firm as Director-Finance and Operations.

    Risper is a practising Certified Executive Coach and serves as non executive director on the boards of several organizations, including Bank of Kigali, Nairobi Securities Exchange and Kenya Climate Ventures.

    She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. In addition, she is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants(FCCA),a member of the Institute of Certified Acccountants of Kenya(ICPAK), an ICF Associate Certified Coach(ACC)and a Certified Mentor Coach

    Risper takes over the role from Wambua Kimeu, who has resigned to pursue other interests. Wambua will be leaving the organization at the end of May 2022.
