Centum Officially relocates its corporate Headquarters to Two Rivers

Centum Investments has officially announced its moving its Corporate headquarters from International House Mama Ngina Street to Two Rivers Mall from next month.

“We wish to notify our shareholders, stakeholders and the general public that Centum Investment company shall change its physical address with effect from 1st March 2018 from 5th Floor International House Mama Ngina Street to Two Rivers Office Towers, 8th Floor and 9th floor, South West Tower, Limuru Road.” the company said in a statement.

Centum’s Chief Executive James Mworia told Kenyan Wallstreet that they shall fully relocate to the new offices at the end of February 2018. He further noted that some of the company’s subsidiaries like Nabo Capital will remain at the International House. Centum has been occupying the Mama Street office since 2000.

The move will not impact the company’s register of shareholders and that of bondholders.

    About International HouseThe Kenyan Wallstreet

International House is owned by Chris Kirubi, Centum’s largest investor with a 29.9% stake. The Nairobi CBD office complex houses various multinationals, foreign embassies and some local organisations including the Kenya Bankers Association. Mr Kirubi purchased the complex in 1985 from the Queensway Development Corporation (a Canadian Company) that had built International House.

    About Two Rivers Mall

Covering a total of 1.7 million square feet of land, Two Rivers Mall is east and central Africa’s largest shopping mall. The complex consists of medium density residential homes, office blocks, a shopping centre, as well as a three-star hotel; the flagship being the 170-room City Lodge which began operations few weeks ago.

Centum has a controlling 58 per cent shareholding in Two Rivers. Other shareholders include Avic International (38 per cent) and ICDC (14 per cent).
