Nairobi Securities Exchange listed Investment firm,Centum, has appointed a former Price-WaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Rwanda associate Director as its new chief finance officer (CFO) effective 15th February 2016.
Samuel Kariuki has over 10 years in experience in the Financial Services industry and began his career at PWC and rose through the corporate ladder to become an associate director in 2010, a position he has served before being hunted by Centum.
Mr Samuel Kariuki will be part of the Centum Business Solutions (CBS), a subsidiary that offers proffesional support to all Centum’s subsidiaries and other firms.
Mr Samuel has a Master of Business Administration from UK’s Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Oxford Brookes University and another undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Moi University.
Mr Kariuki will now report to Mrs Risper Mutoko, Centum’s finance director and also Centum Business Solutions(CBS) Managing Director.
At Centum, Mr Samuel will lead the Group’s Finance,Fundraising,Treasury and Technology functions.He will also support the Centum Investment team in Capital structuring.
