Cellulant Kenya Limited, a leading multinational payment business, has appointed Faith Nkatha Gitonga as its Country Manager for Kenya.
Faith, who previously worked for Oracle, is highly regarded as a competent leader with a proven track record in driving digital transformation.
Her appointment will see her lead Cellulant operations in Kenya and upscale the firm’s payments ecosystem.
Faith has more than 10 years experience in value-addition, building strategic pacts and driving the digitization agenda of some of the leading commercial banks in Kenya.
She has previously worked at Sidian Bank as a director in charge of strategy, monitoring and transformation.
At Sidian, she was key to the lender’s digital plan, which included design and implementation of strategies for growth, expansion, building partnerships and improving quality.
She also worked at SBM Bank (K) Limited, responsible for the lender’s retail and institutional banking segment for eight years from 2008.
Ken Njoroge, co-founder and CEO of Cellulant said the firm was excited that Faith accepted to join them as Cellulant Kenya prepares for future growth.

Faith has over a decade of experience with a notable performance history of value-adding contribution, strategic partnerships and digitalization for some of Kenya’s premier consumer-facing banks.
