    CBK Accepts KSh 23, 871 Million at Weekly Auction

    CBK Accepts KSh 23, 871 Million at Weekly Auction

    The Central Bank of Kenya(CBK) collected KSh 23,871.82 Million at the Weekly Treasury Bills Auction after receiving bids worth KSh 23,874.95 Million, a performance rate of 99.48%.

    The 91-day Treasury Bills was the most attractive, with bids received worth KSh 4,031.46 Million and KSh 4,028.51Million accepted, a performance rate of 100.79%.

    The 182-day Treasury Bills received bids with KSh 9,948.96 Million, a performance rate of 99.49%, with the CBK accepting bids worth KSh 9948.78 Million.

    The 364-day Treasury Bills attracted bids worth KSh 9,894.53 Million out of the 10,000 Million while KSh 9,894.44 Million was accepted.

    Interest rate for the 19-day, 182-day and 364 day Treasury Bills was 6.774%, 7.226% and 7.517% at this auction compared to 6.741%, 7.195% and 7.492% at the last auction.

    The next auction and bids closure is 9th September 2021, with results, announced the next day.
