182-Day & 364 Day T-Bills-Wednesday 22 June 2016
The weighted average yield on Kenya’s 182-day Treasury bill slipped to 9.239 percent at auction on Wednesday compared to 9.545 percent last week, the central bank said. The yield on the 364-day T-bill was barely changed at 10.737 percent compared with 10.734 percent last week.
CBK offered KES 12Billion (($118.58 million) on 182 and 364 Days T-Bills with 189 bids amounting to KES 10.74Billion (179.06% subscription) and 107 bids amounting to KES 3.45 (57.54% subscription) for 182 and 364 days received respectively.The Bank accepted KES 10.27Billion 182 days and KES 3.45Billion for 364 days Treasury Bills.
91- Day T-Bills -Thursday 23 June 2016
The yield on Kenya’s 91-day Treasury bill slipped to 7.059 percent at auction on Thursday from 7.161 percent last week, the central bank said.
The bank offer paper worth 4.00 billion shillings ($39.53 million) and received bids worth 5.33 billion shillings. It accepted bids worth 5.03 billion shillings.
Next Auction- On 29th & 30th June 2016
Next week, the bank will offer 91-, 182- and 364-day bills worth a total of 16 billion shillings.
