    Carbacid Investments Plc Appoints Conrad Nyukuri As New Company Secretary

    Carbacid Investments Plc Board of Directors announced the appointment of Conrad Nyukuri as the Company Secretary of the Company and its subsidiaries with effect from 16th February 2022.

    Conrad is the Managing Partner of Adili Corporate Services Kenya. He holds a BSc Business Administration degree and is a practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries Kenya with over twenty-five years post-qualification experience.

    Conrad is also an affiliate of Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland (formerly the Institute of Certified Secretaries and Administrators of UK).

    He replaces Nalin Kothari who retired from professional work after having served the Group for forty years.

    Kothari ceased to be the Company Secretary of the Company and its subsidiaries with effect from 16 th February 2022. Kothari has been the Company Secretary of the Company since
    June 1980.

    The Board of Carbacid Investments plc has also picked Custody & Registrars Services (Kenya) Limited as the Company’s Share Registrars with effect from 16th February 2022.

    The firm replaces Adili Corporate Services Kenya who wished to discontinue the share registration service.

    Carbacid Investments recorded a 18% after-tax profit jump in its half-year results.

    The results published indicate that Carbacid Investments Limited net profit for the half-year ended 31 January 2021 accelerated to KSh 210 Million up from KSh 178 Million posted for the same period last year.
